African Singer-Songwriter TolumiDE Breaking Grounds Across the Globe

(Toronto, Canada- July 16, 2011)- The recent signing of D'Banj to American Kanye West's record label, highlights that more African artists are starting to get recognized Internationally in the music industry. Nigerian artist TolumiDE (pronounced toe-lu-mee-day), born Tolulope Olumide is no exception. TolumiDE's is a rising African talent, and well respected in the Canadian music industry for her many years as a member of Canada's successful all female music group 'Woman Ah Run Tings'. Since, her solo career began, TolumiDE has had much success, especially with her music video for her first debut single "My Love", that is continuously on rotation on major music video television networks such as MTV Base, Channel, Trace, Gospel Music Channel, MBOA TV, AMET TV, Nigezie, One Gospel TV and more.  TolumiDE has graced the stage with such artists as Salief Keita, Tuface Idibia, P-Square, D'Banj and more. 


TolumiDE was born in Toronto, Canada but raised in Lagos,Nigeria with her family, and currently resides in Washington, DC, which makes her what most young African are, a true Global Citizen. Her music is a fusion of R&B, Afro-pop, and Contemporary Gospel, with album filled of inspirational and uplifting songs.
