(Washington, DC- July 5, 2011)- TolumiDE was born as Tolulope Olumide (which translates to "Thanks and Praise to God" in the Yoruba Language), and is a singer-songwriter in the Urban Soul genre. TolumiDE's music is a fusion of R&B, Afro-pop, and Contemporary Gospel. This talented artist lives in the D.C area, and has been travelling around the world performing her music to thousands, whilst performing on stage with such acclaimed artists as D'Banj, Salief Keita, Tuface Idibia, and P-Square.
TolumiDE has had much success, with her music video for her album titled song, "My Love", which is viewed on major music video television networks such as MTV Base, Channel, Trace, Gospel Music Channel, MBOA TV, AMET TV, Nigezie, One Gospel TV and more.
TolumiDE is an example of a true Global Citizen, from being born in Canada, to growing up with her family in their native country of Nigeria, and now presently residing in America.
