Microbell Media Group (MMG) Announces Canadian Concert Tour for EME/Konvict Music International Star Wizkid for July 2012
(Toronto, ON- June 14, 2012) Microbell Media Group((MMG) announces major concert tour for International music sensation Wizkid in July across Canada. The will be touring in Canada for the first time, beginning with a Toronto concert on Friday July 20, 2012 at On the Rox, located at 1600 Steeles Avenue West. Tour dates for Vancouver, Halifax and Calgary will be announced in the coming days.
Wizkid is currently completing his UK tour, and has recently signed an exclusive deal with Pepsi to become the brand ambassador for Africa. The 2012 BET Music Awards nominee for Best International Act and UK MOBO Awards winner for Best African Artist is expected to sell out all Canadian concert dates to his awaiting fans.
About Wizkid:
Wizkid was born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun in Nigeria. The 22 year-old talented, singer, song-writer and performer began his career at the tender age of 11. He was signed with record company Empire Mates Entertainmen (EME)t, and later signed by AKON’s Konvict Music Record label along with mega Nigerian duo-sensation P-Square. Wizkid is known for some of his popular tracks such as; “Don’t Dull”, Holla at Ur Boy”, "Tease Me", "Love My Baby" and his recent hit "Baddast Boy".
