(July 13, 2012 - Calgary, Alberta) - The 21st Annual Afrikadey! Festival takes place between August 5, 2012 through August 11, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta. The Afrikadey! Festival is an annual celebration of African culture and arts. The  week-long celebration showcases music, food, dance, theatre, film, literature and visual arts of Africa and its multi-cultural diversity. The multiple events take place at different venues across the city of Calgary, with a grand finale full day musical event on Prince’s Island. August 5 - Opening Gala
