The First Annual Caribbean Harvest Blocko Takes Place Saturday, June 1st at the Farmer's Market



(Toronto, ON- May 21, 2013) - The Grenada Day Cultural Association responsible for the Grenada Day Festival, presents its first Caribbean Harvest Blocko on Saturday June 1, 2013. The family event is an opportunity for the public to buy organic food products, Caribbean dishes, arts and crafts by local vendors, enjoy activities, and music. The event begins at 3P.M. until 9P.M., located at the Farmer's Market on 16 John Street (Weston Road/ John Street), in Toronto.

The Harvest Blocko is the pre-Grenada Day Festival event

The Grenada Day Festival celebrates the culture and people of the island of Grenada, and its sister islands; Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Thousands of people attend each year for a full day of of live performances, music, arts and craft, food, activities for the whole family and more.
