Rutgers University’s 1st Ever Latin Student Weekend, to Bring out Latino Celebrities at Charity Concert Event, April 26

New Brunswick, NJ-April 1st, 2009- Rutgers University’s premier Latin Student Weekend will host the “Give Life Concert” to benefit the March of Dimes Charity. The concert organized by the Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Chapter at Rutgers University and College Underground, has a slew of Latino celebrity guests and performers to help fundraise and bring awareness to the March of Dimes Charity and social cause, while highlighting the contributions of Latino students to their college community. The concert will be hosted by AJ from La Kalle Radio, with guest performance by BET’s 106 & Park’s DJ Megatron with Shea Davis, Latin Hip Hop sensation artist Joell Ortiz, International artist Tony Sunshine, performing artist Raw Action a.k.a. B-Boy NEO and The NYC Hip Hop Conservatory, Panamanian Reggae and Soca artist Flama, Brooklyn artist Young Adult, the Spanish Hip Hop Dream Team La Company Los Hijos De Yayo, NYC’s #1 Latin Rap artists Triple 5 a.k.a. Lucky and many more. The Give Life Concert takes place on April 26Th, 2009, at Rutgers University located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The concert begins at 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Chapter:
The Lambda Theta Alpha’s fifth Chapter was founded in 1987 at Rutgers University. Throughout the years, the chapter’s members have been actively involved with numerous projects in education, community service, politics, and cultural programs each year. The Epsilon Chapter has always remained one of the most active organizations on Rutgers University’s campus, as well as in the Sorority, and was recently the recipient of the “Chapter of the Year”, award at Lambda Theta Alpha’s annual National Banquet in March of 2008.
