The film discusses and showcases the meaning of using one's celebrity status to uplift and motivate youth. "You Can Fly" introduces the story of David Stevenson, a Hollywood actor, martial artist and stunt director on feature films such as "Down to Earth" featuring Chris Rock, and "Cool Runnings". The film also features prominent Canadians, such as Olympian Elvis Stojko, former Premiere of Ontario-David Peterson and more.The World Premiere and red carpet screening of "You Can Fly" takes place on September 15th, 2009 at the Bloor Cinema, located at 506 Bloor Street West in Toronto. The Film screening starts at 7:30P.M. Tickets can be purchased at the Bloor Cinema box office for $5per person. Seniors (65+) are free.
