FEAST OF FIELDS ANNOUNCES ANNUAL CONTEST
King Township, ON- April 24, 2012- In
celebration of the fall harvest, Feast of Fields is sponsoring an Organic Soup Recipe
Challenge to all soup connoisseurs and creative home chefs. It can be your personal favourite or a family
heirloom recipe that has been passed down for generations.
The
Ontario Fall Harvest is a tantalizing time for your senses. The brilliant orange of pumpkins, the greens
of acorn squash, the rainbow of colours from the variety of sweet and hot
peppers and the deep purple of fall mums.
Complimenting colour, is aroma, which is integral to taste. The aromatic fruits and vegetables of fall
are metamorphosed into endless
celebrations of soups.
Hot
soups, cold soups, hearty goulashes, Creamy Tomato, Spicy Curry, Gazpacho or Borscht,
are all part of the great explosion of creativity inspired by Fall. We invite you to add your own creativity to
this palate by submitting your recipe using organic farmer’s harvest as your
ingredients.
Your recipe
will be tested by two of Feast’s top Chefs, who will also select the winner of
the challenge.

winning recipe will receive:
-Two tickets to Feast of Fields
