Caribana 2007

Caribana 2007 - Toronto, Canada - August 4th

Ford Publicity took the opportunity offered to sponsor the SPECTRUM Float, Band # 13 with the Mas Players & Diaspora Life.
Our truck float had a number of Caribbean club promoters on board as well. We were selling costumes for only $ 80 Canadian for individuals to "Jump UP" with the Spectrum float. Long story short, we were all ready to go, with no truck in site! No word from the float organizer and a bunch of BEARLY HUSTLIN t-shirts in our bags and hands to throw out to the masses of party goers in the crowd. Several hours later, we started to move with the other truck in our Mas Camp which had the #1 Trinidad live band on it; JMC 3VENI. Luckily I was still in the Caribana spirit as I marched with the various revellers under the hot Toronto sun.
Although we had no truck to relax on, neither was able to effectively promote Ford Publicity and our clothing client Bearly Hustlin, it was still a fabulous experience!
