The First African-American TV Network w/ 6 Channels Launch on March 24 at the Houston Museum of African American Culture

Houston, Texas - March 14, 2011 - TelAfric Television Network is North America's first African American owned Television Network featuring six channels with content programming in film, music, sports, news, talk shows, soaps and more from around the global African Diaspora. The Houston Museum of African American Culture will host the official launch event of TelAfric Television Network on March 24, 2011. The evening will be filled with live performances, guest speakers including; Dr. Chido Nwangwu (Founder/Publisher of first African-owned US-based Online newspaper), representatives from the National United Black Front's Houston Chapter, the Honorary Counsel General of Barbados; Mr. L. Browne, and more. The launch will be hosted by Radio One/ H TV's young and talented personality Kwame Hall (Da Boi Genius).The TelAfric Television Network Launch takes place on March 24, 2011 at the Houston Museum of African American Culture, located at 4807 Caroline Street., Houston, TX 77004.
