2014 Saint Lucian Jounen Kweyol Celebrations -Sunday October 26th at the Jamaican Canadian Centre

(October 20, 2014- Toronto, ON) - October is Creole Month, where countries across the Caribbean with French influences celebrate their history and culture. The Saint Lucian Consulate of Toronto, St. Lucia Toronto Association and the Backup Crew have organized Jounen Kweyol Toronto.
The Jounen Kweyol traditional celebrations take place on Sunday October 26, 2014 at the Jamaican Canadian Centre, located at 995 Arrow Road, Toronto. Doors open at 9A.M. to 11P.M. Tickets can be purchased at the door at $5 per person.

Jounen Kweyol Toronto provides the experience of Creole food, culture, dance, story-telling, cultural exhibitions and performances by many cultural performers including Saint Lucian international group "Manmay La Kaye", coming from the island to perform at the event.
